What is a Flotation Tank?
The Flotation Tank is a lightproof, soundproof chamber that is regulated to skin temperature. It also contains a dense salt water solution that allows the subject to float effortlessly on the surface of the water. The ReBirth Flotation Tank
I built a Flotation Tank specifically for the ReBirth study during the summer of 2000. Free sessions were offered until the end of May 2001 when I had to move and no longer had space. I will create or buy one again as soon as I have the space and finances.
